2023 Asheville Independence Day 5K

START YOUR CELEBRATION OFF WITH A BANG AT THE ASHEVILLE INDEPENDENCE DAY 5K RUNNING RACE!

Bring your family & friends and join us at the Carrier Park Velodrome for a fun, fast and flat 5K running race walk!

• July 3rd: REGISTER ON-SITE AT JUS’ RUNNING

$3 from EVERY registration will be donated to the Food Connection an amazing endeavor helping to create a different kind of independence for those of our community in need.

Monday, July 4th 

• 6:30- 8:00 am ~ Race Day Packet Pick Up   – Carrier Park
• 8:00 am ~ 5k Race Start
• 9:00 am ~ Awards

Pricing

• Early Bird Pricing January 1st – March 30th – $40
• On-line Pricing April 1st – July 2nd – $45
• 20% off for groups of 4 or more.
• 10% off for runners 17 and under or 65 and over.

Awards

• 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 1st Masters, 1st Grand Masters, male and female
• runners  will receive a gift certificate to Jus’ Running as well as a  Custom Award.
• Age Group awards will be given out to the top 3 Female and Male runners in the following categories.
• 0-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 and up

Refund/Cancellation Policy

The Asheville Independence Day 5k has a NO REFUND policy. If you’d like the option of a full refund, we offer RegShield during the registration process to protect your purchase from injury etc. You may transfer your registration to another run up to 3 days before the event.
