2021 Oktoberfest Half Marathon & 5K

The Oktoberfest Half Marathon & 5k, presented by Hunter Subaru, celebrates the season of hops and malts with a beautiful run through the farmland and light rolling hills of Brevard!
Grab your lederhosen and lace up your running shoes for this great run with picturesque views of the Western North Carolina mountains. Festive costumes encouraged, but not required!

Following the race, runners will toast to their achievement with an Oskar Blues beer for those 21+.

RACE INFORMATION

The Oktoberfest Half Marathon & 5k, presented by Hunter Subaru, will start and finish at the Oskar Blues Brewery in Brevard, NC on October 2, 2021.

The Half Marathon will begin at 7:30AM, leaving the Oskar Blues cul de sac towards Transylvania County. This course is almost all on paved roads with approximately 1 mile of gravel road. There is a 3.5 hour time limit for the Half Marathon. Runners will receive a long sleeve t shirt and bottle opener finisher medal included in registration for the Half Marathon.

The 5k starts at 8:00AM, leaving Oskar Blues and turning onto the greenway. Strollers and dogs are allowed, but must start in the back of the group.
