2024 Beer City Relay
Run the 3rd annual 20K Beer City Relay in Asheville, North Carolina
Pull together a team of 4, a team of 2 or run the single 5k option and come celebrate beer with us at one of Asheville’s first breweries: Green Man Brewing!
The race takes place on Saturday, May 25, 2024 with the first wave of runners starting 8:00 am.
Each runner completes the same 5k course one at a time.
So, grab some friends and come celebrate Beer City USA with the Beer City Relay in Asheville, NC!
After your done running, enjoy the after-race party with a beer (21 and over). This takes place at the Green Man Brewery, one of Asheville’s original breweries.

The 2024 Chasing Pints Running Series includes six different brewery races across Western North Carolina with a variety of distances! Explore new breweries, get your miles in, and toast to your achievement at the finish line with a different beer from a different craft brewery. Every race in this series includes a post-race beer in registration for runners that are 21+. Become a Six Pack OR Partial Pack Runner for savings and special prizes! Register for the series before May 24th to receive a discount on registrations!
The Beer City Relay in Asheville is one of the two spring races in the 2024 Chasing Pints running series.
Team Packet Pick Up Options.
One team member can pick up the team packets. Please make sure to register all team members under your chosen team name.
- Friday, May 24th, 4:30-6pm at Green Man Brewery
- Saturday, May 25th, 7:00am – 8am at Green Man Brewery

Team Categories – Team Awards
Special awards will be given out to the fastest team in each of the following categories: All Male, All Female and Mixed Gender. Also, the two overall FASTEST teams (in any category) will receive four $25 gift certificates to Jus’ Running!
Course
Runners race on a 5K loop through the South Slope brewery district of Asheville, North Carolina and the neighborhood around South French Broad Avenue.
