It’s time to run the donut 8k in Asheville, NC! The Jones Elementary School Family Teacher Organization is thrilled to announce an exciting new winter tradition for our community! Join us for a spirited running event to brighten the cold mountain winter and bring neighbors together.
Mark your calendars for February 28th, 2026, when we’ll host our inaugural winter race through the beautiful North Asheville neighborhood. Whether you’re a seasoned runner looking for a challenge or a family wanting to enjoy some fresh mountain air together, we have options for everyone.
Race Options:
- 8K Run – Perfect for runners seeking a moderate challenge through our scenic neighborhood streets. Chip timed.
- 1 Mile Fun Run – Ideal for families, kids, and walkers of all fitness levels. Chip timed.
- Sprinkle Dash Fun Run – Untimed fun run for the kids. 12 and under.
This event is more than just a race—it’s an opportunity to support our school, strengthen community bonds, and enjoy the crisp winter beauty of our mountain town. All proceeds will benefit Jones Elementary School programs and initiatives that directly impact our students.
