2024 Art Dash 5k
Join us for the 11th Annual Art Dash 5K! THE MOST unique summer 5k in Asheville and Western North Carolina.
The Art Dash 5k is part of the LEAF Down By the River Festival. Runners can enjoy a fast, flat out and back run along the River Arts District greenway. Start and end at the Smoky Park Super Clubs Boat House riverside!
The Art Dash 5K starts at 8:30 a.m.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION
- Registration Opens January 1st
- Race Date July 27th 2024
- Race Start 8:30am
- $5 Discount for runners 17 and under or 65 and over given automatically during checkout.
- Early bird registration $35 January 1- March 31
- On-line registration $45 April 1 – July 27th closes at 8am
- Packet Pick Up/Onsite Registration Options
- Friday, July 26th, 4-6pm Second Gear, 99 Riverside Dr. Asheville, NC
- Saturday, July 27th, 7-8:30am Smoky Park Super Club Boat House 350 Riverside Dr. Asheville, NC
- REGISTRATION CLOSES AT 8am RACE MORNING.
RACE SWAG
Every runner receives either a 2024 Race Tee or a Boco brand technical running hat, you choose during registration.
A unique summer 5k in Asheville has unique awards!
A $50 gift certificate to Second Gear, Outdoor Adventure Gear and Consignment Store, will be awarded to the 1st male and female runners.
A $25 gift certificate to Second Gear will also be awarded to the 2nd, 3rd, 1st Masters (40+) and 1st Grand Masters (50+) male and female runners.
Age Group Awards: Awards will go to the top three finishers in each of the following age divisions: 14&U; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70-79; 80 and over. Overall placers not eligible for age group awards.
